The Charles H. Scholer PartyCasinoFaculty Award was established by donations from the friends and family of Charles H. Scholer, and awardees receive a $2,500 cash prize. Selection is based on the following criteria:

  • Unique and innovative contributions to student learning beyond the classroom and laboratory;
  • Well-respected by students and colleagues; and
  • Demonstrated support of students’ extracurricular activities, student professional societies and/or competition teams.

  1. Letter of nomination by a college employee.
  2. Current curriculum vitae.
  3. A two-page (maximum) description of the nominee's qualifications which should address the following attributes:
    a. Unique and innovative contributions to student learning beyond the classroom and laboratory.
    b. Well-respected by students and colleagues.
    c. Demonstrated support of students’ extracurricular activities, student professional societies and/or competition teams.

This year’s recipient is partycasino uk reviewAndrew Sneed, assistant professor in the GE Johnson Department of Architectural Engineering and Construction Science.

Since starting in 2019, Sneed has quickly become one of the most effective instructors in the architectural engineering and construction science department and provides support for multiple student professional societies. He has been actively partycasino uk reviewinvolved with three student competition teams and demonstrated his commitment and dedication to becoming a better faculty advisor for the ASHRAE and MCAA student groups.
